Rules for import to Denmark from third countries in connection with the World Beekeeping Award in connection with Apimondia2025.

Items from third countries (outside the EU) to be judged at the World Beekeeping Award

Section A: Mead - No requirements

Section B: Beeswax - No requirements. (Honeycombs not allowed!)

Section C: Displays - No requirements. If pollen and some other bee products and health products are included, there might be some requirements (see below*).

Section G: Trade Stand Class - If pollen and some other bee products and health products are included, there might be some requirements (see below*).

* If the products have a CN code in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/632 (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A02021R0632-20220818) they are subject to official controls at border control posts.
It is only possible to bring products from third countries or regions thereof authorized for the entry into the European Union. The list of authorized countries is given in Commission Implementating Regulation (EU) 2021/405 (Implementing regulation - 2021/405 - EN - EUR-Lex).
Besides the products have to come from authorized companies (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2292 (Delegated regulation - 2022/2292 - EN - EUR-Lex)) being registered in TRACES.
Besides the products have to have animal health certificates for the entry into the Union (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32020R2235)

Products marked with * will be destroyed immediately after the World Beekeeping Award.
